i'm working with corelDraw since 1995/96, makingpage layouts and logo designs. so, i've got some knowledge
about the software and its tools.
the "vector art" thing became when i found the illustrator world website, in the end of 2003/ begginig 2004. *
amazing things can be done with vectors*. so, i've decided to try myself with corelDraw, trying to make realistic and
shiny things, like the apple logo and those hearts. i not even imagined that someday i'd try to make portraits,
because i thought it was an impossible, crazy thing. but... i've decided to give myself a chance... and then come
someoneSpecial vector portrait. i really enjoy making it (besides the sad emotional part) and today is the type of
vector that i like most.
and... why did i learn?
because i simply love the colorful "drawing" look of vectors - since the most simple ones
with flat colors util the more complex ones, with gradients, transparencies (with no gradient mesh tool, not that
i don't like it... i do, but i think the final aspect is closer than a painting than a vector).
hehe, i do this everytime. xD
