Summer is a warm season, when life is everywhere splendid and bright, with the hot weather, and Summer is often synonym with harvest or vacation. But I decided not to do the harvest, just a wheat field and no shadow from the tree of right to protect the light skin of the woman (though I think she's not kinda real), a hard suffocating weather. But she's there around the wheat field with around her those red poppies who grow in cereal fields in summer, and the lark, synonym of summer in france, is flying to another place while two swans and a heron are in peace behind her on the lake, and it doesn't seem they see her.
Next one will be Spring, the last one !
Thank you to =lockstock for her fabulous stock photos !
Hope you like people and the Prints will come soon !

Ugh, I think I need therapy, everytime I pass another anime artist's page, my first reaction is to blurt out "I WISH MY STYLE WAS MORE LIKE YOURS ARTIST-SAMAAAA!" Sigh.
Well, you're a vector artist who's work I respect. The big thing is composition. That can partly be taught, but mostly it "comes from within". You either have it, or you don't. You got it, kid
The other major thing I got from "Summer" was rendering leafy backgrounds in vectors. You can either be totally anal and render every frigging leaf, or you can draw a soft cloud, put a green gradient on it (light at the top, dark at the bottom), give it lots of brothers and sisters (changing the color and type of gradient, of course), and make it part of the distant background.
"Hot damn" I thought, as I inspected your distant shore in "Summer", "She cheats the same way I do! And it looks great!"
You're always the most critical of the things you do yourself.
Anyway, I love your stuff, so keep plugging away!

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
